What are Stem Cells?
Stem Cells are the human body’s natural regenerative agents. It has the ability to develop into many specialised cell types, from muscle cells, bone cells, nerve cells and brain cells, granting them the ability to regenerate and repair damaged tissues.
Cell-based therapies have the potential to heal or restore cells and tissues affected by age, disease or trauma, as well as to boost the body’s natural immunity response. This makes it suitable for both disease prevention and treatment, including treatment of injuries or conditions.
The stem cells we use are Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC), which are adult, multipotent stem cells with the ability to differentiate into many specialised cell types, including muscle cells, bone cells, nerve cells and brain cells. MSCs are harvested from Wharton’s Jelly (umbilical cord), bone marrow, adipose tissue and dental pulp.
Combining Regenerative And Rehabilitation Medicine
How does Stem Cell therapy work?
As we get older, our natural stem cells decrease in numbers and efficacy.
Stem Cell therapy promotes the repair responses of one’s existing stem cells through extracting, culturing and applying new, younger stem cells to replenish the ‘older’ ones. This enables your body to generate healthy cells to replace diseased or damaged cells.
There are definitely benefits in regenerative stem cell therapy but it must be combined with lifestyle modifications, such as dietary improvements, keeping stamina and muscles active through exercise. Combining these with stem cell therapy ensures the positive results can be maintained in the long-term.
The results include:
- Improved vitality and enhanced overall well-being
- Higher energy levels and stamina
- Better memory and concentration
- Pain relief and pain management
